In Nigeria, Professor Ayodele Arowojolu, an obstetrician-gynecologist, has strongly advocated for the introduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in schools to combat issues such as teenage pregnancy, sexual violence, substance abuse, and misinformation spread via social media. International organizations and research highlight the effectiveness of CSE, and public opinion largely supports its introduction. However, there are differing viewpoints regarding religious and cultural considerations and access to contraception.
