Terms of Service

Article 1 (General Provisions)

These Terms of Service define the conditions for using the news media service and related mobile apps (collectively referred to as "Service") provided by Hiyoko Fighter Music LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Company").

All persons who use the Service (including read-only guests, hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

While the Service has multilingual translation features, only the Japanese version of these Terms shall have legal effect. Other language versions are reference translations.

Article 2 (Definitions)

Term Definition
CS User A user who has registered for membership through the Company's prescribed method and obtained a dedicated user ID
Paid Article Articles provided by the Company or third parties that can be viewed for a fee
PR Article Advertising articles published by the Company based on requests from advertisers
CSP (chord_stream Point) Points earned by users through purchasing paid articles or viewing PR articles, which can also be used with partner services
Partner Service External services operated by the Company or third parties in business partnership with the Company where CSP can be used

Article 3 (Agreement and Changes to Terms)

The Company may change these Terms without prior consent from Users.

Modified Terms shall take effect from the time they are displayed on the Service. If a User continues to use the Service after modifications, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the changes.

Article 4 (Member Registration)

Those wishing to register as CS Users shall register accurate information through the Company's prescribed method.

The Company may refuse or delete registration in the following cases:

  • When false registration information is discovered
  • When determined to be associated with antisocial forces
  • When previously deprived of membership due to violation of these Terms
  • When the Company deems it inappropriate for other reasons

Article 5 (ID and Password Management)

CS Users shall manage their ID and password at their own responsibility and shall not transfer, lend, or share them with third parties.

The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by unauthorized use of ID and password, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 6 (Cross-Service Login)

CS Users may log in to other sites/apps operated by the Company or partners using the same ID within the scope defined by the Company.

Use of other sites shall be governed by their respective terms of service.

Article 7 (Purchase of Paid Articles)

Users shall pay the amount displayed at the time of purchasing paid articles through the Company's designated payment methods.

Due to the nature of digital content, cancellations and refunds after purchase confirmation are not provided, except as permitted by law.

Article 8 (CSP Grant and Use)

The Company shall grant CSP based on (a) paid article purchase amounts, (b) PR article view counts, and other conditions defined by the Company.

Grant rates, expiration dates, applicable services, etc. shall follow displays on the Service or separately defined "CSP Guidelines".

CSP cannot be exchanged for cash. Transfer or inheritance is also not permitted.

The Company may change CSP grant conditions or usage conditions without prior notice.

Article 9 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in the following acts:

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights or privacy of the Company or third parties
  • Acts that place excessive load on site servers, reverse engineering
  • Mass acquisition of articles and images using automated programs
  • Acts of reselling or transferring paid articles, CSP, IDs, etc. to third parties
  • Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 10 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyrights of articles, photos, videos, programs, and all other content published on the Service belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.

Users shall not reproduce, repost, or modify content beyond the scope of private use.

Article 11 (Service Interruption and Termination)

The Company may interrupt or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users in the following cases:

  • When performing system maintenance, inspection, or updates
  • When operation becomes difficult due to force majeure such as fire, power outages, or natural disasters
  • When the Company deems it unavoidable for other reasons

The Company shall not be liable for any damages suffered by Users or third parties due to service interruption or termination.

Article 12 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

The Company makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or usefulness of the Service and content.

The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by Users' inability to use the Service or disputes with third parties.

Even when the Company bears liability for damages, except for intentional or gross negligence by the Company, the maximum compensation amount shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User to the Company in the past 12 months.

Article 13 (Privacy)

Personal information handling shall follow the separately defined "Privacy Policy".

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.

In case litigation becomes necessary regarding the Service, Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed jurisdiction court of first instance.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall apply from May 31, 2025.
