On October 28th (U.S. time), NVIDIA announced a partnership with Uber to globally expand a Level 4 autonomous driving network. Utilizing the new platform "DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10" and AV software, they plan to scale up gradually from 2027, ultimately aiming for a fleet of 100,000 vehicles. Companies like Stellantis, Lucid, and Mercedes-Benz are also participating in the ecosystem. NVIDIA also unveiled the safety certification framework "NVIDIA Halos" and a data factory concept. Meanwhile, some reports suggest an initial deployment of 5,000 vehicles and mass production starting in 2028, reflecting a mix of anticipation and caution.
