iPhone 17 Series: Key Features Expected in the Pro Max and Other Devices

2025年09月09日 17:57
The iPhone 17 series is expected to consist of four models: "17/17 Air/17 Pro/17 Pro Max," with the most significant highlights being the substantial camera enhancements and increased battery capacity in the Pro models. Information from a recent Chinese regulatory database suggests that the Pro Max may feature a battery exceeding 5,000mAh (5088mAh), and the Pro could expand to 4,252mAh, although these are still in the "rumor" stage and not confirmed. The camera advancements reportedly include a 24MP front camera, a 48MP telephoto lens, up to 8x optical zoom, dual video recording from both front and rear cameras, and a variable aperture, all catering to creators. In terms of connectivity, rumors suggest Wi-Fi 7 and a proprietary Wi-Fi chip for all models, with the Pro expected to feature the A19 Pro chip and enhanced cooling (vapor chamber). On the other hand, there is a possibility of a global expansion of eSIM-only models, with the Air likely to omit a physical SIM due to its slim design, indicating an increase in region-specific specifications. In Japan, the transition hurdles are relatively low, as Apple Pay's FeliCa (including transportation) and major carriers' eSIM support are already well-established. However, it is important to note that mmWave 5G has historically been limited to the U.S. market.
