Strategy × Super Speed × Showdown—The Online Competitive Puzzle Game 'SHIKA-Q' Set for Worldwide Release in Fall 2025

2025年09月11日 00:52
The Yokohama-based game studio AGNI-FLARE has announced the global release (with some regional exceptions) of their new online competitive puzzle game, "SHIKA-Q," scheduled for the fall of 2025. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. The core of the game is a "super-fast real-time" strategic battle where players connect blocks on a 10x10 board, switching between offense and defense with instant decisions. The unique feature of the game is that the battles themselves are driven by "songs." In the single-player "Challenge" mode, 20 songs will be available, and the season-based battle pass will add 10 character songs (standard/premium). Pricing will be announced at a later date, and the game will be available exclusively in digital format. It was also clarified that the game will not be released in China and Russia, and its availability in Taiwan will depend on the eShop's status, highlighting regional considerations. The official website, YouTube, Discord, and X were launched simultaneously, raising expectations for future updates and community engagement.
