USJ's "Nighttime Parade" Officially Ends—Suspended Since 2020, Unable to Resume

2025年09月02日 00:17
Universal Studios Japan (USJ) officially announced the end of its nighttime flagship show, "Universal Spectacle Night Parade: Best of Hollywood," on September 1, 2025 (Monday). The parade, which began in 2018, gained popularity with its innovative presentation that transformed the entire city into a movie world using 600-meter-scale projection mapping and giant floats featuring four major IPs: 'Harry Potter,' 'Transformers,' 'Jurassic World,' and 'Minions.' However, it has been on long-term hiatus since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. USJ explained that the decision to end the parade is part of **"an attraction plan that includes renewals and new additions."** From autumn onwards, dynamic nighttime experiences like "Halloween Horror Nights" are planned, and visitors are advised to regularly check the official show schedule. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the announcement details, the history and impressive features of the night parade, the timeline from its hiatus to conclusion, ways to enjoy "Night USJ" in the future, and practical tips for international visitors (crowds, securing spots, tickets).
