1-2 Unique Attractions of DisneySea

While Tokyo Disneyland focuses on a pop world of "ghosts and pumpkins," DisneySea takes a "dark & gorgeous" route that adults can enjoy. The performances in the harbor surrounded by the sea and the heavy decorations utilizing the stone-built streets are distinctive features. Shows utilizing ships and water surfaces are unparalleled in scale and quality even in overseas Disney parks, leaving a strong impression on first-time foreign visitors.

2. Onboard Greeting at Mediterranean Harbor

2-1 "Villains Rockin' Halloween"

A small-scale show held twice a day (11:00/16:00 planned, each 15 minutes). Mickey and friends are invited by the villains and appear in the center of the harbor by ship.

  • Featured Characters: Jafar, Maleficent, Cruella, Ursula, Captain Hook, Hades, etc.

  • Highlights:

    • Action performances using flags and flames.

    • Queen of Hearts' card soldiers perform a drumline.

    • In the show's finale, villains & hero characters dance together in "Dark Mix Time."

  • Viewing Points:

    • Lido Isle: Characters stay for a long time.

    • Piazza Topolino: Jafar docks right in front.

    • Fortunato Bridge: Offers a panoramic view, suitable for beginner photographers.

2-2 Priority Viewing Area and Lottery System

  • Entry Reception: One lottery entry per group per day via the Tokyo Disney Resort app.

  • Tips to Increase Winning Chances: Higher winning rate tends to be on weekdays for the first performance, if the lottery is done by 11:30.

3. Featured Villains Characters

3-1 Jafar (Aladdin)

This year's "face," actively appearing both on board and on land. Free greetings are also planned around the Arabian Coast, offering great photo opportunities. (tokyodisneyresort.jp)

  • Must-See Points: Snake staff-inspired fire pillar effects and red & black laser lights.

3-2 Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)

Appears with a dragon shadow projected on the screen. Night performances add green flame special effects, making it photogenic.

3-3 Other Villains

  • Ursula: Recreates the sea witch's lab with a bubble machine.

  • Cruella: Performs a rock-style guitar arrangement of "Cruella De Vil."

4. Halloween Limited Food and "Jafar's Beef Curry"

4-1 Special Beef Curry at Casbah Food Court

  • Sales Period: September 16 (Tuesday) - November 3 (Monday, Holiday)

  • Price: 1,480 yen (includes rice + red naan, tandoori chicken)

  • Features:

    • Rich roux using black ink & cacao.

    • Bright red naan colored with beets, representing Jafar's turban.

    • Spices blended from 7 Middle Eastern varieties for authentic spiciness.
