Five years have passed since the enactment of the Ticket Resale Prohibition Law. A common tactic now used by scalpers is "partial payment on certain sites + remaining balance handed over at the venue." However, with the amendment of the Provider Liability Limitation Act and the accumulation of court precedents, the threshold for disclosing sender information has significantly lowered. Major sites like Ticket Ryutsu Center and Ticket Jam have shifted to a policy of immediate disclosure upon receiving a court order. This article will: ① illustrate the transaction flow to visualize the technical points where detection can occur, ② investigate the practice of listing tickets under a different artist's slot on the same day, ③ extract the resale market prices for former Johnny's Office and STARTO groups as of July 16, 2025, from Ticket Ryutsu Center and Ticket Jam, and ④ explain the civil and criminal risks involved when a disclosure request is received, using the latest case law. Based on the premise that resale is illegal both legally and ethically, we emphasize the importance of using official channels to protect fans and the industry.
